Sales incentive programs are an effective tool when considering additional ways to motivate your sales force. One objection I hear time and again from potential customers is that their sales people are already heavily compensated with commissions and other cash-like awards so therefore there really is no need for any additional recognition or rewards.
At All Star – we feel strongly that is not the case. Survey results published by the Aberdeen Group and distributed by the Incentive Research Foundation certainly speak to the fact that non-cash incentives and recognition are a sure-fire way to push your sales force to greater heights.

In a couple instances I have talked about branding through this blog and in general it continues to be one of my favorite areas of interest.  This infographic is a simple representation of why branding is important and the areas of focus that are key.  While your company may have its’ own corporate branding – when All Star speaks with clients about this topic we are typically more focused on the brand identity of a company’s rewards program or event.  Of course, as mentioned in the past program/event and company branding should always be aligned in some way.  Take a peek at the graphic to learn a little more about how to initiate the branding of your company’s rewards and recognition program.

Can this really be a good idea?  With candidates and elected officials mired in everything from sexting to bridge closure scandals, will allowing odds makers to possibly affect the outcome elections or worse – put candidates in harm’s way – be the best idea to breathe life in to the Las Vegas sports book scene?  If I were a betting man…..

Just one month after rejecting a single casino in New Hampshire, the House was back at it considering a new proposal to legalize two casinos that would have shared a total of no more than 5,000 slot machines and 240 table games.  The bill failed by a single vote, 173-172!  Deputy Speaker Naida Kaen was presiding over the session and cast the deciding vote.
